First Pictures Of The New Ayodhya Airport Show Carved Pillars And A Temple

The  Ayodhya airport is going to be a work of architecture in and of itself when it opens before the Ram Temple. At first glance, the airport that is still being built looks like it will mirror the city’s rich culture and history. The Ayodhya airport, which cost 250 crores to build, is based on the traditional Nagara style of temple building. The two-story airport looks like a good place to welcome people to Ayodhya. It has carved pillars and artworks that are based on the Hindu epic Ramayana.

A grand stepped “shikar,” which is the highest building in a temple, will be at the main entrance to the airport. The airport will be surrounded by texts, and the huge columns that hold up the terminal roof will represent the “Kandas,” or major events in the Ramayana. With its many meanings, the airport will be a great mix of Ayodhya’s rich culture and modern conveniences.
