UP Police Paper leak

Lucknow: The purported leak of the UP Police constable test paper caused a huge commotion on social media. The exam paper was allegedly leaked, according to candidates who sat the exam on February 17 during the second shift.
They have claimed that the UP Police constable paper was distributed among candidates by posting screenshots and photos from WhatsApp on X, formerly Twitter. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPPRB), however, has denied these allegations, claiming that initial inquiries indicate some people are abusing Telegram’s edit feature to disseminate untrue tales of paper leaks.

According to a preliminary inquiry, people are spreading false information regarding document leaks on social media and cheating by exploiting Telegram’s edit feature. The UPPPRB stated in a post on X that “The Board and UP police are monitoring these incidents and thoroughly investigating their sources.”

A Varanasi center has identified a problem with the question paper’s improper printing on a few of its pages. The Board has given the situation careful thought, and the appropriate steps are being done. Additionally, candidates may submit to the board office their representation in this regard,” the statement read.

The Board is steadfast in its commitment to upholding the integrity and openness of each of its investigations. With the assistance of the UP Police, the Board will completely verify the unverified news that is trending once the examination is successfully completed on a big scale. It said that hopefuls have to exude confidence.

A user on X expressed dismay and questioned the UP government’s ability to conduct secure tests, pointing out that there have been leaks in the past during RO and ARO exams.

Is the UP government holding exams in this manner, where all of the exam papers are being leaked? It was experienced by RO, ARO, and now UPP as well! Strong inquiry is required,” a user wrote.

In the Ballia district, 14 people have been detained by the police on suspicion of cheating on the current exam. Three people who were pretending to be police constable hopefuls were among those detained.
